Livy Issue Ltd. trading as McGuirks Golf acknowledges the value of diversity and gender parity in our workplace. At McGuirks Golf we're dedicated to promoting gender equity and building a working environment where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed. We are invested in promoting an equal, inclusive, and diverse workforce and closing the gender pay gap (GPG) within our organisation. With membership of Golf Ireland at 80% male and only 20% female, McGuirks Golf has a natural general occurrence of more males accounting for a larger proportion of our workforce.
Under the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, McGuirks Golf is required to report on its gender pay gap across a range of metrics. The Gender Pay Gap is the difference in pay between men and women explained through various statistics. It is influenced by a range of factors including the demographics of the company workforce.
The information provided provides a transparent overview of our gender pay gap and the steps we are taking to address it.
At the snapshot date McGuirks Golf had a total of 311 employees with female employees being 24.75% (77) and male employees being 75.25% (234).
McGuirks Golf has a mean gender pay gap of 9.1% in favour of men, 0.5% below the national average, and a median pay gap of 11.11% in favour of men.
