Miura CUSTOM MC-502 Satin Chrome 7 Steel Irons  ONE

The MC-501 was one of Miura’s best-selling models—ever. Its modern blade profile won over players with a blend of sleek aesthetics, effortless playability, and a piercing ball flight. The MC-501 proved that forgiveness was possible in a blade iron without sacrificing performance. Building on that legacy, Shinei Miura and his design team refined every subtle detail in the MC-502. The result is a blade that delivers enhanced forgiveness and precision, crafted to meet the uncompromising expectations of discerning golfers.

Changing The Game

The creation of the MC-501 changed the way in which a blade iron design which is weight, density and distribution of that weight. The MC-502 takes some of the best features of the 501 while adding enhanced playability and performance characteristics not previously seen in the category.

Subtle Enhancements

The MC-502 incorporates an increase in face progression (less offset) compared to the 501, which has always been a welcomed look for the betterplayer. Additionally, a softer, more rounded top line and toe profile found their way from the sketch pad to the factory. These subtle changes were able to deliver even greater confidence to the golfer, evident when lining up the club head at address.

The Channels

Seen in the design of the back of the iron, these channels distribute weight to the sole of the club, allowing the craftsman to increase bounce and camber, all contributing to more effective turf travel, making the 502 among the easiest of Miura models to hit.

A Feel Like No Other

Katsuhiro Miura set out to make something elegant and refined, to create something beautiful, with the highest degree of integrity. His patience and unique forging process ensures the grain of the steel is fine and uniformed, leading to a feel unlike anything else. The Miura feel. Every club is hand-crafted, one-by-one, and touched by Miura-San or one of his two sons, Shinei and Yoshitaka.

Crafted With Precision

Every great invention started with design. Miura strives to achieve weight tolerances of +/- .5 g, a number that exceeds current industry standards. While time consuming, Miura’s commitment to technical precision is carried throughout the meticulous design process.
